Well folks, it's true.... 3 years ago, January 30, 2010, we officially opened our doors and somehow, some way we're still alive and kickin'. Where, oh where, has the time gone?! They say that time flies while your having fun, and WE'VE BEEN HAVIN' A BLAST!! It's often said, "where there's a will, there's a way", and believe you me, we've got lots of will to keep on truckin' until they drag us out kicking and screaming!
We've presented wonderful exhibits of such varied and quality work, hosted private parties, photo and video productions, and have tried to give something back to the community by making the space available to charitable events and educational endeavors. This past holiday season we took a new approach to how we presented ourselves at the gallery by truly integrating all the artists and their works to create a more mature, holistic and organic experience, and you responded in kind by providing us with feedback that repeatedly expressed just how much we'd "grown up". We really feel that "we've come a long way, baby" and believe that we have so much farther to go, but we can only take one step at a time no matter how far or how high we want to jump.
This fantasy we had of creating a space to cultivate, entertain and celebrate the creative forces within and around us all has led us on an amazing journey of discovery and growth. We are overjoyed that you have not only embraced us and our vision, but also have come to see us as your own. To be sure, we could have not become what we are today without all the love and support of the many friends we've made through the gallery/studio, those friends now certainly members of our GAS Gallery And Studio family. So, in short, Happy Birthday to all of you as well !!
Make a wish, blow out those candles, and keep believing! Fill your life with art and live an artful life!! xoxo
